在首届国家优秀教材奖评选中,刘建亚等主编的教材《大学数学教程-微积分(1)(2)》(第三版)荣获全国优秀教材奖高等教育类二等奖 2011年,完成的“自守形式与素数分布”获教育部自然科学奖一等奖。

2012年,以刘建亚教授为学术带头人的“数论”团队入选“教育部创新团队”;2014年所完成的“自守形式与素数分布的研究”获国家自然科学奖二等奖。
