Shandong University Mathematical Research Center(MRC), founded in 2023, is located in the century-old heritage building at Hongjialou Campus of Shandong University in Jinan. It is a special, advanced talent-development zone for the mathematics discipline approved by the Ministry of Education.
With its top-tier faculty of mathematics at Shandong University, MRC has gathered a group of academic experts from world-renowned institutions. It has established a research and talent development team, led by chief professors, in six fields: Number Theory, Nonlinear Probability, Cryptographic Mathematics, Cybernetics, Analysis and Differential Equations, Operations Optimization and Computational Science. Ⅱ. Recruiting Category and Treatment
1. Applicants must be under 35 years old, of sound physical and mental condition, and possess strong research potential and academic integrity. Additionally, applicants should be outstanding doctoral graduates from prestigious domestic or international universities within the past three years, demonstrating significant development potential and strong academic capabilities.
2. Salary and Benefits: The position offers an annual salary of no less than RMB 300,000 and benefits equivalent to those of regular staff, including Social Insurance and Housing Provident Fund at the same standard as full-time faculty. Subsidized rental housing in postdoctoral apartments and a supportive research environment with an annual research fund of no less than RMB 30,000 are provided. Additional financial support will be provided by MRC and cooperating mentors based on academic performance. Furthermore, eligible postdoctoral researchers can apply for an additional subsidy of RMB 5,000 per month, in accordance with relevant local and policies of the university and the Municipal Government of Jinan.
3. Management and Evaluation: Postdoctoral researchers are appointed for a term of 2 years, which may be extended based on work performance. They are required to undergo and pass a mid-term evaluation and a final evaluation. Those who meet the requirements of the evaluation may participate in the recruitment for teaching and other related positions at the school.

Ⅳ. Assessment process
1. Preliminary Review. MRC Postdoctoral Program committee will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of applicants based on their academic background, research direction, publications, and recommendations.
2. Interview: Applicants who pass the preliminary review will be invited to attend an interview at MRC. Interview arrangements will be notified later.
Ⅴ. Job Requirements:
1. Postdoctoral Researchers should primarily focus on scientific research while also assisting their mentors in guiding graduate students, participating in teaching and academic activities such as curriculum development and textbook compilation. The specific job duties will be determined by the labor contract(work agreement).
2. Postdoctoral Researchers must ensure full-time commitment to postdoctoral research work and be present at the workplace on workdays.
