Professor Yang Yifan graduated from the Department of Mathematics at Taiwan University and subsequently received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. He conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton and the National University of Singapore, focusing on modular forms. He joined Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in 2003 and has been a professor at Taiwan University since 2017. With outstanding achievements in number theory, he has published numerous papers in international journals and received multiple honors, including the NSTC Outstanding Research Award. He is dedicated to academic development and mentoring young scholars.
